Article
4 of the Articles of Association
of the Association provides:- |
| (a) |
The
Association shall consist of
persons, corporations, partnerships,
firms, unincorporated associations
and societies carrying on advertising
as part of their business in
Hong Kong (excluding publishers,
printers, advertising agents,
theatre and cinema owners and
operators and others in whose
business advertising is not,
in the opinion of the Committee,
a sufficiently important business
to warrant their admission to
membership). |
| (b) |
Associate
Members shall consist of persons,
corporations, partnerships,
firms, unincorporated associations
or societies carrying on business
in Hong Kong as advertising
agents, publishers, printers,
theatre and cinema owners and
operators and such other businesses
as the Committee shall from
time to time determine. |
| (c) |
Individual Members shall consist of individual persons who are under full-time employment of any corporations, partnerships, firms, unincorporated associations and societies carrying on advertising as part of their business in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (including publishers, printers, advertising agents, theatre and cinema owners and operators) and who, having been duly entered in the Register of Members shall conform to these Articles of Association and any Bye-Laws made by the Committee hereunder and any lawful amendment, modification, addition to or alternation in such Articles or Bye-Laws. |
| (d) |
Student Members shall consist of individuals who are studying full-time and/or part-time at any registered tertiary institutions/universities in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and who, having been duly entered in the Register of Members shall conform to these Articles of Association and any Bye-Laws made by the Committee hereunder and any lawful amendment, modification, addition to or alternation in such Articles or Bye-Laws. |
